If not sure about the term google it and find a template or something. Its all about Problems and Solutions. Imagine it like this. You are the salesmen and your management are your customers. You want to imagine yourself, prepare yourself and encourage yourself with some specific examples you have eye witnessed for why they need to create a Relationship Management role. <br />I bet if you show them sample numbers of how they could lose money if the client they have decides to leave because of X, Y Z reasons, you will have management attention.<br />After you have built a 'business case' , I would prepare a 'proposal' with some ideas of how to set up that role.
